Monday to Saturday from 10h to 18h and one hour before each performance at the place of performance.
With: Laurent Gerra, accompanied by 6 musicians
One of France’s favourite comedians is celebrating the 30th year of his career by revisiting some of his biggest sketches, while distilling a good number of new performances from his vintage. Over the numbers, we rediscover his familiar irreverence and his risqué and easy-going humour while he sheds light on a half-century of French society: showbiz, politics, the “world’s greats”, artists, intellectuals…no-one is spared his remarks. And we allow ourselves a belly laugh when he lays into sensitive subjects that stir up current affairs and public opinion.
More than ever, he wears the twin cap of comic and impersonator with disconcerting ease, alternating sketches and derision that often take on a true transformation: beyond imitation and caricature, he is second to none in literally bringing the characters he mocks to life. Constantly oscillating between satire and homage, laughter and emotion, the 50-year-old artist with a 30-year career touches our hearts and proves that he has been able to remain an irresistible “brat”!
RTL: There are many premiers in the new show from Laurent Gerra (…). The fascinating thing is not only the accuracy of the voices of every person he impersonates, it is the physical imitation that he achieves.
Le Point.fr: For his jubilee, Laurent Gerra is producing an all new show (…). A total of 72 often impressive vocal and physical imitations.
