You loved them in CUISINE & CONFESSIONS in February 2016, you will adore them in their new creation.
A single journey and so many different ways to experience it: this is what is illustrated in the new production from the Quebec collective with the momentum of a true road movie, between frantic action and intimate introspection. In the backdrop of a rail carriage, a character in itself, 8 passengers frolic in a sequence of numbers that are as spectacular as they are poetic, during the course of which the audience themselves become travellers little by little: a cascade of impeccable performances, magnified by stage setting that flirts between being intimate and a major show.
From densely technical circus numbers to a theatrical game, via choreographical expression and a bountiful videographic world, the eye is ceaselessly roving, drawn by the artists’ performances. And it is with delight that we recognize the artistic identity of the 7 Doigts: this incomparable penchant for experimentation, this hyper creativity and this talent for captivating musical atmospheres, thanks to which they roll out truly multidisciplinary frescos.
Huffington Post: The show is rich, varied, funny, tender, moving, joyful, subject to reflection and executed with panache.
Le Devoir/Ca: A Berber proverb states that “the journey is going from yourself to yourself through others”. (…) the 7 doigts demonstrate this singular proposal that carries us away in the length of a single journey. All aboard!
