Cannes Tourist Office

The mission of the Cannes Tourist Office is multiple: to promote a wonderful destination; to renew the offer each year while perpetuating the fundamentals, the exceptional richness of its heritage and the events that forge its reputation; to welcome you and provide you with all the help and information necessary to make your stay an unforgettable success.

Our mission and our commitments
The Cannes Tourist Office is continually committed to a policy of improving the quality of its services and its welcome. The City of Cannes and its 2 Tourist Offices are committed to this mission. In addition to our official website, a real virtual office to prepare your trip, we have two offices in the Palais des Festivals and Cannes La Bocca. Our multilingual teams, who know all about Cannes and its region, are waiting for you all year round.

The Cannes Tourist Office awarded category 1 status.

The first category (the highest in the range) must meet a series of criteria concerning the general organisation of the structure, signage, opening periods, languages used, quality of documentation, the existence of an Internet site or a central booking office, the sale of packaged products and of course tools and services relating to new technologies.

The classification guarantees the quality of the services offered to its visitors. Total customer satisfaction is the stated objective of the Cannes Tourist Office.

The Cannes Tourist Office offers a free WIFI access “Wifi OT Cannes”.

A label : Sustainable & Innovative Destination

Created by France Congrès et Evènements and 9 pilot destinations (Biarritz, Bordeaux, Cannes, Deauville, Marseille, Metz, Nancy, Nantes and Rennes), the label aims to commit all destinations to sustainable development. The approach covers both business and leisure tourism, with the advantage of involving all the players in the area (local authorities, emblematic places and events, socio-professionals, visitors, local residents, etc.) in the implementation of the objectives. The aim is to provide visitors with responsible offers throughout their stay: hotels, restaurants, mobility, activities, shopping, cultural events.

This label is linked to the ISO 20121 certification, which deals with the challenges of responsible events. It is divided into 8 issues for 26 actions:
– 1) Deploying open and transparent governance
– 2) Strengthen sustainable mobility to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050
– 3) Promote responsible consumption and fight against waste
– 4) Make tourism a driver for inclusion
– 5) Enhance the economy and protect the destination’s heritage
– 6) Mobilise resources to foster sustainable innovation in the tourism sector
– 7) Involve tourists, professionals and event organisers in the sustainable dynamic
– 8) Pay specific attention to public safety

– In order to deploy this approach, several partners are already involved in the “Sustainable Innovative Destination” label:
– La Ville de Cannes
– Le Majestic
– Le Gray d’Albion
– Lenôtre Traiteur

Welcome Bicycle Label

ACCUEILVELO-CMJN

The national Welcome Bicyle label is a guarantee of quality, providing a welcome and services adapted to cycle tourists along cycle routes. The Alpes-Maritimes Department, which is deploying the Accueil Vélo mark on its territory, has taken the initiative to meet the expectations of an increasing number of users.

The Mediterranean by bike is the French part of Euro Vélo 8, a cycle route crossing eleven European countries from the south of Spain to Cyprus, with a total length of more than 7000 km.
In France, La Méditerranée à vélo offers 850 km from Le Perthus to Menton, all of which can be cycled, with some sections still being completed. The voluntary establishments, signatories of the charter, commit themselves through a quality reference system to meet the criteria of reception and services expected by cyclotourists.
