Inspector Rando discovers Cannes :
The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès and Randoland, professional trips aimed at Randoland children and their families, have designed an amusing tool for the city visit. A new pedestrian route to enable families to discover Cannes is available at the Tourist office.
Inspector Rando is a naughty badger who goes off to explore Cannes. He accompanies children between 4 and 12 years old on a 1.8 km walk hike that is accessible to all and takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes for a family with very young children.
The Index cards are designed to be like a treasure hunt to motivate the children along the walk. A mascot, Inspector Rando, accompanies and guides the children, helping to solve riddles. The child assigns a pattern to the walk with the index cards and becomes a guide-explorer. The children discover signs to be found in the historical, architectural or natural heritage elements, enough sites and monuments to enable them and their families to find out more about the local heritage and be amazed by the wealth of the territory the are visiting.
The Tourist Office offers this paper kit free of charge in French and English.
